To continue the legacy of Goodwood Park, we are looking for dynamic and committed candidates to join our Central Purchasing Unit.

Job Summary

You will ensure the smooth operations of the Central Purchasing Unit in the sourcing of quotations and purchasing of items for both Goodwood Park Hotel and York Hotel.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Finance, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

• Coordinate all administrative matters within CPU and other departments on sourcing and purchasing matters.

• Check and ensure that all Expenses Approval Form and Purchase Requisition are in proper order as per the SOP before any purchases are made.

• Call for tender/ negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms for all items.

• Monitors market trends and prices for all products, source new products for cost effectiveness and obtain competitive quotations for all purchases.

• Ensure prices in CPU system are updated.

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

• Conduct CPU’s Bi-monthly meeting on Group basis.

Requirements:-

• Recognised Diploma in Business Management or equivalent. 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

• A great team player.

• Able to commence work within short notice would be advantageous.
