Job Summary

Support vessel operations by managing procurement, logistics, and certification processes to ensure timely delivery and compliance for ship management activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage requisitions using the company system to ensure timely processing
• Assist vessels with purchasing activities to meet operational needs
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers accurately and promptly
• Coordinate logistics arrangements from purchase order issuance through onboard delivery
• Process supplier invoices using company software to maintain accurate financial records
• Schedule and arrange annual vessel services such as LSA, FFA, and Radio Equipment as due dates approach
• Assist the Superintendent with operational tasks as required to support vessel management
• Arrange renewal of vessel certificates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Good knowledge of technical, purchasing, and logistics processes relevant to shipping and offshore operations
• Diploma holder with 1-2 years of technical experience in shipping, ship management, or offshore shipowner environments
• Candidates without prior purchasing experience but with strong technical skills in shipping are encouraged to apply
