Promoter 6-15th Feb ($13/hr)

We are looking for a friendly and responsible Food Promoter to work in a supermarket setting, promoting and selling seafood products such as Hokkaido scallops and crab sticks for hotpot. The promoter will be required to prepare samples by steaming products using an induction cooker, engage customers, and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell seafood products (scallops, crab sticks, etc.) to customers

• Steam food items using an induction cooker according to provided guidelines

• Offer product samples and explain product features, cooking methods, and promotions

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation at all times

• Ensure food safety standards are followed during preparation and handling

• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor when replenishment is needed

• Provide friendly customer service and answer basic customer enquiries
  

Requirements

• Comfortable handling and preparing food (seafood)

• Able to operate an induction cooker (training provided)

• Good communication skills; able to approach and interact with customer

• Prior experience as a food promoter or in retail is an advantage (but not mandatory)

• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain)
