Principal Engineer-Software Architecture & Delivery

Lead technical strategy and solution architecture for large-scale software projects, driving engineering excellence and mentoring teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in critical software development domains, including architecture, front-end, back-end, and related areas.
• Define long-term technical direction and technology roadmaps to support project and product delivery.
• Lead technical design for solutions and software components, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices for delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and tools to accelerate software delivery.
• Own development and delivery strategies, ensuring solutions are resilient, maintainable, scalable, and integrate seamlessly with broader systems.
• Review technical implementations to ensure feasibility, optimization, and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to address complex engineering challenges.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in software engineering, with 8+ years in roles such as Solution Architect, Software Architect, QA Lead, or Data Management Lead.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale, in-house developed software projects, including multi-site deployments.
• Deep expertise in specialized areas (e.g., front-end, back-end, data management, QA/testing, solution/software architecture, DevOps).
• Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams to drive software delivery.
• Strong background in coaching, technical excellence, and problem-solving.
• Excellent technical leadership, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
• Highly analytical, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
