Pilates Studio Reception Staff

1. Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals who are excited to work in a dynamic environment. Experience in customer service / fitness background are welcome, but not necessary.

Because this role requires working closely with clients, strong communication skills, promptness, and strong organization skills are required. Experience in administrative, customer service, and hospitality are encouraged. Experience in the fitness industry, and knowledge of MindBody Business software, is welcome.

Position Details

• Part-Time/Full-time position

• 3 to 5 days work week

• Required to operate on weekends

2. Responsibilities

• Handle reception area - receiving walk in customers, assisting clients with checking in

• Consult clients before initial trial session

• Recommend and explain pricing and packages (not sales, explaining) • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages

• Handle booking, cancellations and reconfirmation requests from members/visitors

• Collection of payments, outstanding fees

• Liaising with instructors to monitor studio capacity, managing bookings

• Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material

• Greeting and welcoming desks as they approach the front desk

• Answering questions and addressing complaints

• Assisting with exams and certificates of students/instructors

• All other ad-hoc duties assigned by Operations manager

3. Requirements

• Personable, friendly personality with a strong organizational skill. Have enthusiasm in the fitness industry

• Professional, strong interpersonal and communication skill

• Good multitasking and time-management skills

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to details

• Good initiative and drive with ability to work independently

• A Team Player

• Punctual

• Candidates with relevant qualifications, customer service/hospitality background and/or without experience are welcomed to apply

4. Salary - Hourly pay for this position is $13/hr

- Monthly salary will include CPF contribution

- 4 months probationary period
