Job Description:
To provide assistance to the Medical Staff by providing venepuncture service for the collection of blood specimens for Laboratory investigations for the patients


1. Performs venepuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory.
2. Sorts and records all blood specimens collected, and dispatched to the Laboratory.
3. Practice Universal Precautions throughout the procedure.
4. Gathers feedback from Clinicians, Staff and Patients on matters concerning workflow improvement.

Requirement:

• Min NITEC or Diploma in Nursing OR Phlebotomist certification by recognized institutions.

• Min 2 years’ experience in performing venepuncture.
