Job Summary

You will curate music playlists and create an engaging atmosphere for nightclub patrons by adapting music to audience preferences and collaborating with staff to coordinate events and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Curate and select diverse music playlists to enhance the ambience for nightclub patrons
• Create an entertaining atmosphere using music, lighting, and special effects to engage customers
• Interact with patrons by taking song requests and adapting music to match the mood and preferences of the audience
• Collaborate with nightclub management and staff to coordinate performances during events and promotions
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers and management to continuously improve the entertainment experience
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance during performances, adhering to the club’s dress code

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a performing artiste in a nightclub or similar entertainment venue, with familiarity in creating a suitable atmosphere for club goers
• Strong communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with patrons
• Effective time management skills to ensure timely setup and performance during nightclub operating hours
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by nightclub operating hours
• Commitment to maintaining professional conduct and appearance in line with club standards
