Operations Manager

Job Summary

Manage and optimize operational workflows for OTC derivative transactions, regulatory compliance, fund operations, audit support, and administrative functions to drive accuracy, regulatory adherence, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational workflows for OTC derivative transactions to ensure efficient and compliant processing that supports business objectives
• Prepare and submit MAS surveys, regulatory filings, and related documentation with accuracy and timeliness to meet regulatory requirements
• Respond promptly and accurately to regulatory inquiries to maintain compliance and transparency with authorities
• Participate in investor meetings by delivering clear and comprehensive explanations of operational procedures to strengthen investor relations
• Manage the full cycle of Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) preparation, coordination, and submission to facilitate thorough investor due diligence processes
• Execute and supervise daily trade processing activities to ensure seamless fund operations and timely transaction settlements
• Support monthly fund valuation procedures by reviewing NAV calculations and coordinating with external administrators to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Provide comprehensive audit support for fund and corporate audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating audit timelines

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong proficiency in English and Japanese (both written and spoken) to support daily business communication and regulatory correspondence
• 10 years of experience in the financial sector demonstrating operational expertise and regulatory knowledge

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in hedge fund operations or equivalent operational experience within other financial institutions
