Company Overview

We are a retail and lifestyle group specializing in porcelain products, lab-grown jewellery, and home fragrance products. The company operates multiple retail outlets in Singapore and across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Thailand, supported by warehouse and logistics operations. Our core business is B2C retail, with a small portion of B2B (corporate client) sales.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Director to lead and oversee our retail, warehouse, and headquarters operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day business while driving growth and efficiency across the region.

Job Summary

The Operations Director will oversee operations across retail outlets, warehouses, and our Singapore headquarters. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, cost control, and high team performance, while supporting the growth and expansion of our retail business.

The ideal candidate is strategic, organized, and hands-on, capable of managing multi-country operations while improving workflows and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations (Core Responsibility)

· Manage daily operations of retail outlets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and other Southeast Asian markets

· Ensure consistent operational standards and brand presentation across all stores

· Monitor sales performance and key operational metrics

· Continuously improve customer experience and service quality

· Ensure compliance with local regulations in each country

· Support operational coordination for B2B (corporate client) orders

Product & Inventory Management

· Oversee inventory planning and allocation for porcelain, lab-grown jewellery, and home fragrance products

· Ensure accurate stock records across stores and warehouses

· Optimize stock movement and minimize loss or excess inventory

· Coordinate cross-border stock transfers and replenishment

Warehouse & Logistics Management

· Supervise warehouse operations and regional logistics

· Improve supply chain efficiency and delivery timelines

· Ensure safe storage and handling of fragile and high-value products

Team Leadership & SOP Implementation

· Lead the Singapore headquarters office team, store managers, and warehouse staff

· Coordinate collaboration and resource allocation across retail and support departments

· Develop and standardize SOPs across all operations

· Conduct performance reviews and operational audits

· Implement training programs to improve operational efficiency and execution

Financial & Operational Planning

· Monitor operational costs and enhance cost efficiency

· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning

· Identify opportunities for operational optimization and scalability

Supplier & Cross-Border Management

· Manage relationships with local and regional suppliers

· Participate in procurement negotiations and commercial agreements

· Ensure timely sourcing and replenishment

· Coordinate cross-border procurement and supply chain operations

Requirements

· Proven experience managing multi-store retail operations

· Experience in Southeast Asian regional operations preferred

· Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain management

· Leadership experience with multi-location or cross-functional teams

· Strong financial awareness and cost management ability

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

· As most of the company’s suppliers are based in China and operations involve frequent cross-border coordination, candidates must be fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
