🌟 Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This role is critical in ensuring smooth ambulance operations, manpower deployment, and compliance with service standards.

You will work closely with operations leadership to drive efficiency, maintain service readiness, and support frontline emergency response teams.

🧑‍💼 Key Responsibilities

Operations & Deployment

• Oversee daily EMS operations, including ambulance readiness and crew deployment

• Monitor response times, manpower allocation, and operational KPIs

• Ensure smooth coordination of emergency cases and resources

Team Management & Support

• Supervise EMTs, drivers, and operations staff

• Support rostering, manpower planning, and shift coordination

• Handle ground issues and provide operational guidance to frontline teams

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, protocols, and SOPs

• Support audits, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with internal teams, healthcare partners, and relevant authorities

• Support operational reporting to senior management

• Assist in planning and executing new operational initiatives

✅ Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Paramedicine, or Operations Management

• Prior experience in EMS, ambulance services, healthcare operations, or frontline services preferred

• Experience in team supervision, rostering, or operations coordination

• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
