Night Duty Security Guard

Role Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Night Duty Security Guard to join our team at Mama Shelter Singapore. This role ensures the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property during overnight hours, while also assisting with basic repair and maintenance tasks to keep our facilities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety

• Monitor hotel premises through patrols and CCTV surveillance.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns.
• Control access to restricted areas and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity logs.

Guest Support

• Provide courteous assistance to guests during night hours.
• Handle inquiries and direct guests to appropriate services.
• Repair & Maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs (e.g., light fixtures, door locks, plumbing basics).
  • Conduct routine checks of equipment and facilities.
  • Report major maintenance issues to the engineering team.
  • Support preventive maintenance tasks when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in security or hospitality preferred.
• Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies.
• Physically fit and able to work overnight shifts.
• Valid security license/certification.
