Network Operations Center Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure and systems in a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents; escalate critical issues as per SLA guidelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and document incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures.
• Support WAN/LAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and server infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for incident resolution and maintenance activities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing & switching, DNS, DHCP, and firewall technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with incident management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Ability to work in shifts in a 24/7 environment.
