Job Overview

The Mutual Fund Product Manager is responsible for managing and developing the bank’s Mutual Fund platform in Singapore, with full accountability for product strategy, fund selection, and platform profitability. The role supports the Private Wealth Management and Corporate Banking segments by identifying high-quality investment funds, constructing model portfolios, and equipping Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Consultants (ICs) with actionable investment ideas.

Reporting to the Head of Wealth Management Products, the role focuses on strengthening the bank’s fund platform through rigorous product due diligence, close collaboration with internal business units, and strategic partnerships with external asset management companies. The Product Manager will also ensure that the platform adheres to regulatory, compliance, and operational standards while delivering competitive investment solutions to clients.

This position plays a critical role in bridging investment product expertise with front-line sales teams, ensuring that the bank’s wealth advisory capabilities remain robust, compliant, and aligned with global investment trends.

Responsibilities

• This new role provides fund selection, daily management and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business in Singapore.
• Responsible for the review of both traditional and alternative funds as well as ongoing support of funds.

• Provide the Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios

• Provide investment advisory support as well as championing of fund products to both local and regional sales team.

•  Work with both internal business units and external asset managers in delivering advisory communications and training.

• Participate in regional funds initiatives and projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection / due diligence for Mutual Funds

• An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets will be advantageous

• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner

• Pro-active, self-starter and goal orientated. Possess teamwork skills such as listening, communication and conflict management
