Mid Weight Designer (Digital/Graphic)

As a strategic design communications agency, Oculus Design aims to enable brands and teams to amplify their stories through tailored communication solutions. 

We’re looking for a curious, multi-disciplinary designer who loves telling stories through either a beautifully laid-out publication, a TikTok-native video, an insta-worthy photo, a punchy GIF, or a clear, engaging infographic.

Creating content that people actually like, comment on, and share motivates you further in your craft. You’re comfortable wearing many hats: a thinker and a doer, a troubleshooter who cares deeply about producing high-quality work across print, digital, and social.

Responsibilities

–  Pitching for new projects, conceptualising ideas

–  Produce engaging digital content and user interfaces for clients across web and mobile

–  Interpret brand and digital strategies 

–  Be able to dive deep into content, structure and information flow

–  Collaborating with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, of a certain standard

- Keep up to date with digital and social media marketing trends

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, those with more experience will be considered for a senior position
• Background in Advertising / Media / Art & Design / Creative Multimedia / Mass Communications (attitude over academics)
• Skills in creative ideation, graphic design (able to use Adobe Indesign), art direction
• Experience in photography, storyboarding, motion graphics
• Experience in videography and illustration is a plus
• Experience in social media, digital or interactive content preferred
• A motivated, goal-oriented team player
• You have good spoken and written English
