Mathematics Teachers (AEIS Preparation)

Title: Mathematics Teacher – AEIS Preparation (Primary 2–5 / Secondary 1–3)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract
Work Location:  Central, North
Salary Range: Part-Time: SGD $40 – $60 per hour/Full-Time: SGD $3,500 – $4,500 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Working Hours: Weekdays, evenings and/or weekends depending on teaching schedule.

Job Description·        We are seeking committed and experienced Mathematics teachers to conduct AEIS preparatory classes for international students seeking admission into Singapore government schools.  The successful candidate will prepare students in AEIS Mathematics aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, supporting learners at Primary 2 to Primary 5 and/or Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 levels.        All classes are conducted onsite through in-class teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured AEIS Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus
• Teach students problem-solving strategies using the Singapore Math approach
• Prepare students for AEIS Mathematics through practice papers, mock examinations, and targeted exercises
• Guide students in solving word problems, non-routine questions, and model drawing techniques
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching methods to support students with different learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress
• Collaborate with the academic team to review and improve teaching materials   
• Deliver structured and engaging lessons through in-class teaching.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field
• Prior experience teaching Singapore MOE Mathematics or AEIS preparation
• Strong understanding of Singapore Math methodologies and problem-solving techniques
• Ability to teach Primary 2–5 and/or Secondary 1–3 Mathematics
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to conduct interactive and structured lessons

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching certifications such as PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent teaching credentials
• Experience teaching international students preparing for AEIS
• Experience with Singapore Math heuristics and model drawing
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
