Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Mathematics lessons tailored to students’ needs.

· Develop engaging teaching materials, practice worksheets, and assessment tools.

· Mark students’ work promptly and provide constructive feedback.

· Track and report student progress, preparing detailed progress reports each semester.

· Build strong relationships with students and parents to support each child’s academic growth.

· Conduct small-group or one-to-one sessions when necessary to reinforce understanding.

· Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum enhancement and lesson design.

· Participate in open houses, workshops, or marketing events as an ambassador of the school.

· Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Academic Director.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

· Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of Singapore MOE Mathematics syllabus (Primary or Secondary).

· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

· Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners.

· Able to work on weekends and align with tuition centre operating hours.

· Energetic, responsible, and thrives in a dynamic teaching environment.
