Established in 1973, The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmChamSG) is the largest international business association in Singapore, with nearly 700 member companies. AmChamSG is an independent, non-partisan business-progressive association. Our mission is to promote the interests of AmChamSG members in Singapore and the region by providing advocacy, thought leadership, and community through our programs, events and publications.


About the Role

AmChamSG seeks a dynamic fresh graduate to apply for the position of Marketing and Events Executive. This full-time position reports to the Chief of Staff, provides high-level marketing and communications, project management, office operations and event services support. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and resourceful individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Major Responsibilities


Marketing and Communications

  • Support the design and management of online digital content (website, e-newsletter and social media)
  • Assist in writing of social media content, design of social media graphics, and managing the social media calendar
  • Assist in event photography and development of video content (filming, editing, etc.)


Project Management

  • Support the Chief of Staff in tracking and managing key organizational projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks

Event Services

  • Assist respective internal teams to support smooth execution of events
  • Support the planning and execution of event details including room setup, audiovisual equipment, and lighting
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners, including senior leadership, staff, members, and vendors

Support other initiatives of the Chamber as required


Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply, no experience required
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
