Job Overview

New Vantage International College is seeking a Manager, Academic Quality & Student Experience to manage the institution’s quality assurance framework and support regulatory compliance within the private education sector, while overseeing policies and processes relating to the student lifecycle and overall student experience.

The role is responsible for managing and maintaining the institution’s Quality Management System (QMS), developing and implementing institutional policies and procedures, and ensuring hat quality standards are consistently applied across academic and administrative functions.

The successful candidate should have strong experience in the Singapore Private Education Institution (PEI) sector, with a solid understanding of EduTrust requirements and institutional quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Manage and maintain the institution’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with regulatory and sector requirements.
• Develop, review and implement institutional policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate and conduct internal quality reviews and monitor compliance across academic and administrative functions.
• Prepare institutional documentation and reports required for governance and regulatory purposes.
• Maintain risk registers, track corrective actions, and support management review processes.
• Provide guidance to staff on quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements.

Student Experience Governance

• Oversee policy frameworks relating to the student lifecycle, including admission compliance, orientation processes, student support services, and grievance management.
• Establish and monitor mechanisms for student feedback and service improvement.
• Work with operational teams to ensure that policies relating to student services are implemented consistently and effectively.

Institutional Process Improvement

• Analyse operational workflows and recommend improvements to strengthen institutional processes.
• Support management in implementing institutional improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports and documentation for management review and institutional planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Prior working experience within a Singapore Private Education Institution (PEI) is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of EduTrust requirements and quality assurance practices in the PEI sector.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, academic administration, compliance, or related functions within the private education sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with academic and administrative teams.
• Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates who have been directly involved in maintaining institutional quality management systems, internal quality reviews, or EduTrust-related processes within a PEI will be highly regarded.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Comfortable working independently with documentation, reporting and data analysis.
