We are expanding our functional health offerings and are seeking an experienced Functional Health Practitioner / Nutritionist to join our multidisciplinary team on a locum basis.

Role Overview

The Functional Health Practitioner will support clients with lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness coaching based on functional health principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional health and lifestyle consultations (e.g., gut health, metabolic health, stress, sleep, weight management, longevity optimisation)

• Review and explain lab reports in collaboration with medical doctors (e.g., microbiome, metabolic, nutritional panels)

• Develop personalised lifestyle, nutrition, and supplement guidance (non-prescriptive)

• Provide coaching and follow-up support to improve adherence and outcomes

• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and wellness practitioners in a multidisciplinary care model

• Contribute to patient education content, workshops, and wellness programmes

Requirements

• Certification or training in Functional Medicine, Integrative Health, Health Coaching, Nutrition Coaching, or Lifestyle Medicine (e.g., IFM, A4M, IIN, Precision Nutrition, or equivalent)

• Relevant experience in wellness clinics, coaching, or healthcare settings

• Strong understanding of gut health, metabolic health, lifestyle optimisation, and supplementation

• Excellent communication, coaching, and patient engagement skills

• Comfortable working under a medical-led clinical governance framework
