Job Summary
We are seeking passionate candidates to sell and upsell skills development courses. You will coordinate course planning, build customer relationships, and work with the team to meet enrolment targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the planning division to structure course planners aligned with demand sensing and programme targets
- Confirm classes at least 3 to 5 days before the course date, maintaining less than 10% class cancellations
- Collaborate with team leads to execute activities that increase course registration inflow
- Identify and build relationships with prospective customers to increase enrolment
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to implement initiatives such as cold calling, EDMs, mailers, flyer distribution, course previews, and roadshows to promote courses
- Provide excellent customer service to trainees and visitors to create a welcoming environment
- Respond promptly and accurately to telephone and other customer inquiries about Eduquest programmes
- Ensure timely and accurate course registration by completing attendee details and collecting outstanding fees before course commencement
- Achieve set enrolment targets under assigned programme groups
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction through effective communication and service
- Perform other business development, sales, and administrative tasks as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel
- Minimum two years of relevant working experience in clerical, administrative support, or related roles
- Good command of English (oral and written) to communicate effectively with attendees
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work on either Saturday or Sunday (5 day work week)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Educational level of at least Higher Secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in any field
- Sales-driven mindset with good numerical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with Mandarin speaking candidates and handle Chinese classes.
