TLS Academy invites responsible and service-oriented individuals to apply for the position of Learning Center Monitor / Teaching Assistant.

This role supports classroom learning and daily academic routines within a structured learning center environment. The position is well suited for individuals who enjoy working with students and who desire to contribute meaningfully within a values-driven educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and supervisors in supporting classroom learning activities.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group academic support, particularly in English language and literacy.

• Support students as they work independently through assigned academic materials.

• Help prepare teaching materials and classroom learning resources.

• Supervise and guide students during class sessions and school activities.

• Assist in maintaining an orderly and focused learning center environment.

• Encourage positive study habits and responsible conduct among students.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning.

• Currently residing in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Completion of A-Levels, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.

• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning.

• Willingness to contribute positively within a values-based educational environment.

Previous classroom, tutoring, mentoring, or youth-related experience will be an advantage but is not essential.
