Language Instructor (Extracurriculum)

Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Language Instructors (Extracurricular) to join Wonderlingo, a bilingual education centre providing English language enrichment programmes for students aged 1–18 from both local and international school backgrounds.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality English enrichment and language development programmes that support students’ communication skills, academic readiness, and confidence in English, complementing their learning in international school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach 1-to-1 and small-group English enrichment classes using Wonderlingo’s curriculum and teaching materials

Deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and academic language skills in an enrichment setting

Adapt lesson content to meet the needs of students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds

Support curriculum development, lesson planning, and worksheet editing when required

Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and parents on learning progress

Maintain a professional, positive, and engaging learning environment aligned with Wonderlingo’s teaching philosophy

Participate in training sessions and contribute to educational and curriculum-related projects within the centre

Job Requirements

Degree in a language-related, humanities, or social sciences discipline

Recognised English language teaching qualifications (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, TEFL or equivalent)

Experience teaching English as a second or foreign language

Experience teaching children and/or adolescents in an enrichment or language centre setting is preferred

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Ability to work effectively in a bilingual and multicultural education environment

Passion for language education and working with learners across different age groups
