Junior Medical Technologist

Work Location: Orchard

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (e.g., hematology, biochemistry, immunology, urinalysis) in accordance with established protocols

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results

• Prepare, label, and process patient specimens while adhering to safety and infection control standards

• Validate and document test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements

• Troubleshoot technical issues and report abnormalities promptly

• Maintain proper inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables

• Support internal quality control procedures and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure smooth clinical operations

Requirements:

• At least 1 - 2 years Medical Technologist experience, in clinic settings will be an advantage
• Possess Diploma in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• No requirement to speak Japanese but open to working within a Japanese-speaking environment
