Adecco is partnering with a leading client to hire a IT Desktop Specialist who thrives at the front line of IT support. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting users, and working across modern IT environments, this role offers the chance to make a real difference every day.

As the first point of contact for end-users, you’ll deliver high-quality desktop support, ensure systems run smoothly, and help drive successful device migrations and platform upgrades—all while maintaining excellent service standards.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Provide first-line desktop support, troubleshooting client platform issues, restoring services, and resolving incidents and service requests.
• Handle device setup, data migration, and hardware refreshes.
• Manage client platform service requests such as access, configuration changes, and standard updates.
• Monitor system performance and service levels, identifying risks and proposing improvement actions when required.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and support lifecycle management.
• Participate in client platform implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.

🧠 What You Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant hands-on desktop support experience will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with calm, professional issue handling.
• Professional or technical certifications (e.g. CompTIA) are an advantage.
• Willing to undertake island-wide onsite support assignments as required; work-related transportation expenses are claimable, subject to company policy.
• Comfortable working a five-day work week with flexibility to include weekends when required.
