Located in the heart of Orchard Road, we are building a community where magic is learned, practiced, and experienced. We are seeking an exceptional Institute Manager to serve as the operational heart of this unique institution.
This role is a dynamic blend of educational administrator, event coordinator, and hospitality manager. You will manage the student journey, coordinate performances, and ensure every visitor—whether student or audience member—feels the warmth and wonder of Institute Illusions.

🎯 Core Responsibilities
Educational Programmes (Workshops, Lectures, Courses)
· Manage the full student lifecycle: enquiries, registrations, class scheduling, and progress tracking
· Serve as primary point of contact for students and parents regarding workshops, courses, and lectures
· Coordinate class timetables with the Founder/Lead Magician and visiting lecturers
· Track attendance, student progress, and course feedback
· Maintain accurate student records and enrollment data
· Process course fees and membership payments
Performance Coordination (Future Shows)
· Coordinate scheduling of future magic performances
· Manage ticket sales, seating arrangements, and audience communications
· Serve as front-of-house host during performance evenings
· Ensure smooth audience flow and pre-show hospitality
· Gather audience feedback to enhance future experiences
Hospitality & Guest Experience
· Oversee the premium hospitality experience for both students and performance attendees
· Manage refreshments and snacks for guests
· Create warm, memorable moments for VIP members and regular patrons
· Ensure the environment reflects the Institute's motto: Imagine. Inspire. Illuminate.
Operations & Administration
· Maintain inventory of teaching materials, magic props, and student supplies
· Coordinate maintenance of equipment (A/V systems, teaching tools)
· Ensure compliance with basic safety and hygiene standards
· Support marketing efforts through guest engagement and feedback collection
· Assist with event coordination for private bookings and special programmes

👤 Who We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in educational administration, event coordination, customer service, or hospitality (experience in arts education, enrichment centres, or performance venues is a strong advantage)
· Strong command of English (spoken and written)
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with students, parents, audiences, and performers
· Proven ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and priorities
· Genuine warmth and professionalism when dealing with diverse groups
· Singaporean or PR (for compliance with local hiring requirements)
Preferred Attributes
· Experience with ticketing systems, student databases, or CRM platforms
· Background in arts, entertainment, or creative industries
· Familiarity with basic bookkeeping or fee processing
· Interest in magic or performing arts (not required, but a strong plus!)

Friday Prepare for weekend performances; coordinate with Founder
Saturday Full day: workshops + evening show (front-of-house hosting)
Sunday Post-show feedback collection; reset for upcoming week
