*IMMEDIATE* 1 Year Contract Mechanical Design Engineer ($3.5Kto$4.2K) #NJA

The Job:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for transformer mechanical components and assemblies
• Extract and compile parts information to generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and part lists.
• Design, develop, and plan the manufacturing processes for transformers and related mechanical equipment, components, and systems.
• Review, check, and approve mechanical, production, and fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor and control fabrication schedules in accordance with production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the Production team on engineering and manufacturing matters.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth project execution and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD 2D/3D
