Head Commodity Trade Finance APAC

Your role :

We're looking for someone like that to:

• Assume responsibility for acquisition, relationship management, and profitability of CTF APAC

• Manage and develop a diversified portfolio of Energy, Metals, and Soft clients

• Be a role model and inspiring leader in developing business relationships and negotiations internationally

• Develop and facilitate cross selling efforts over the portfolio (IB-CCS, FX, WM)

• Ensure continuous balance and optimization of the risk return couple

• Work cross divisionally with Global WM and Investment Bank to develop One Bank synergies

Your team :

You’ll be heading our CTF APAC team specializing in providing trading houses with professional advisory and financing solutions. We’re part of CIC APAC, located in Singapore as an extension to the CIC International & Transaction Services servicing clients globally. This role will report directly to the Global Head Commodity Trade Finance (CTF) in Switzerland and the Head CIC APAC in Singapore.

Your expertise :

You have:

• successful track record and/or excellent expert knowledge of Commodity Trade business and its financial solutions

• detailed understanding of the specificities of the Energy, Metals and Soft industry and industrial value chain. Understanding of the Asia Pacific landscape is advantageous

• experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring teams towards a commercially driven organization

• a knack for structured problem-solving and hands on risk management

You are:

• an excellent communicator and negotiator, with strong interpersonal skills

• fluent in English, additional language proficiency relevant to the role such as Chinese is an asset

• customer oriented with keen interest in business development

• resilient, drive towards goals and work well under pressure
