💰 Salary: Up to $10,000 (depending on experience and capability)

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee central kitchen operations and lead a team of 15–20 Sous Chefs and Cooks. The successful candidate will manage both halal and non-halal kitchen operations while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the central kitchen
• Ensure quality of meals and timely order fulfilment
• Propose menus for customer enquiries and tender submissions
• Develop creative dining concepts for retail outlets
• Support high-profile catering events and services
• Evaluate new raw materials and suppliers
• Provide weekly material forecasts for purchasing
• Establish standard costing and ensure actual costs remain within targets
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations
• Manage labour costs and improve team productivity
• Lead, train, and develop a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of culinary experience in a reputable large-scale F&B, hospitality, catering, or central kitchen environment
• Strong culinary expertise and creativity
• Knowledge of food science and food technology
• Familiarity with Singapore’s foodservice landscape (hospitality, healthcare, institutions, QSR, catering, food processing, retail/OEM)
• Strong planning, management, and execution capabilities
• Proficiency in IT systems (e.g. MS Office, SAP or similar)
• Knowledge of costing, budgeting, and basic financial concepts
