Guest Service Assistant (Concierge)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure and assist with their luggage.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office team to provide courteous and efficient service to guests.
• Establish rapport with in-house and long-staying guests, offering assistance as needed.
• Respond efficiently and tactfully to guests’ requests and enquires, including hotel facilities and services, as well as general information beyond the hotel (e.g. local attractions, transportation options, dining recommendations, etc.).  
• Liaise closely with Reception on guests’ arrival and departure.
• Make courtesy calls to guests.
• Stay well-versed and updated on all tourists related information, events and conferences.
• Manage guest baggage storage, as well as the delivery of parcels and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records by updating the movements log including delivery of luggage, parcels to guest rooms, and baggage stored or retrieved.
• Ensure the lobby, driveway, and luggage storage areas are kept clean and presentable at all times.
• Stay informed about the day’s events within the hotel and assist guests or visitors with directions and relevant information as required.
• Oversee and maintain smooth traffic flow at the hotel driveway 
• Requisite and keep stock of promotional materials for daily operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors, carrying them out diligently and professionally.

Requirements

• O-Level or equivalent
• Willing to perform rotating shifts
• Positive attitude with outgoing personality and good communication skills
• Experience in hospitality and knowledge of Opera will be advantageous
