ABOUT SWISH SWIMMING

Located in Dempsey Hill,, Swish Swimming is an award-winning swim school that focuses on making early swim experiences a true joy, which leads to the most successful, positive and trauma free outcomes.

Since 2014, we have grown into a trusted community of families supported by a team of over 30 people.

Our philosophy is strongly influenced by Australian learn-to-swim culture where strong, confident swimming is what parents demand for their children, regardless of mandated lessons.

THE ROLE

This is a senior on-site leadership role with full P&L accountability.

You will be responsible for revenue, costs, profitability, customer experience, operational performance, and long-term sustainability of the swim school, working closely with the coaching leadership team overseeing recruitment and training.

This role requires a senior leader with proven management experience and the capability to take full business ownership and deliver measurable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full responsibility for revenue, costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability

• Optimise enrolments, pricing, staffing, and class utilisation

• Lead customer experience and retention

• Lead and develop department leaders and oversee a customer service team of 4-6, fostering a high performance, accountable culture

• Lead a marketing manager and agency

• Recruit and manage non-coaching staff

• Oversee operations, safety, compliance, and facilities

• Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and expansion initiatives.

• Use CRM, reporting, and performance data to improve efficiency and inform strategic decisions

RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:

• Reports to the Managing Director / Owner

• Collaborates closely with:

• Coaching & People Resources Managers

• Facilities team

External:

• Families and swimmers

• Community and event partners

• Vendors and suppliers

• Potential strategic partners to support revenue growth
  

BROAD AQUATIC AND SPORT LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We welcome candidates with leadership exposure across diverse aquatic or sport environments, including community swim programmes, structured performance settings, or multi-site operations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, or related discipline. 

• Postgraduate qualification in Sport Education or similar will be advantageous.
  
  

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

With verifiable references, you must have:

• Over 15 years of management (including teams) experience across health, fitness, and sport environments

• At least 8–10 years of senior leadership and people management experience (with verifiable references)

This leadership experience must include:

• Managing medium to large sport, aquatic, fitness, or education-based operations

• Full operational and financial oversight within structured environments

• Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams

• Leadership exposure within university, sport science, or compliance-driven education settings

• Strong stakeholder management

• Use of CRM systems and performance reporting tools

• Experience operating within safety and regulatory frameworks

EXPERIENCE IN GLOBALLY BENCHMARKED AQUATIC PROGRAMMES (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

• Experience within structured learn-to-swim systems

• Understanding of parent expectations in competitive swim markets

• Exposure to international best practices in aquatic education

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

• Salary  SGD 9,500 per month for the right candidate
  SATURDAY - WEDNESDAY work week (every weekend is non-negotiable)
