General Maintenance Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance of air-conditioning systems, including cleaning fan coil unit filters, coils, and flushing condensate drain pipes.
• Attend to air-conditioning issues such as leakage in guest rooms and office areas.
• Carry out carpentry works, including repair and installation of furniture, cabinets,shelves, wooden flooring, and fixtures.
• Perform painting and varnishing works in guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities.
• Handle repairs such as carpets, wallpaper, castor wheels, and basic installations.
• Assist with electrical works and plumbing repairs, including water pipe leakage.
• Support project works, refurbishments, and setup of equipment for function rooms when required.
• Perform general maintenance duties and any other tasks assigned by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a ITE Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance
• At least 1 year of experience in hotel industry or related field
• Able to communicate in simple English
• Able to work independently
• Good team player
• Work well under pressure
