Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer to support the development and
management of our modern, cloud-native application ecosystem. This role involves maintaining
a new, high-performance stack built on Edge technologies while providing essential support for
our existing legacy systems.
You will be instrumental in transitioning newly developed systems to in-house management and
ensuring data continuity between our modern applications and our established databases.
Key Responsibilities
● In-house System Transition: Assist in transitioning core applications from external vendors to in-house management, becoming deeply familiar with the architecture and codebase.
● Modern Web Development: Develop and refine high-performance UIs using React and Tailwind CSS, powered by Cloudflare Workers (Edge computing).
● Data Management: Administer the Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend, including managing schemas, authentication, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
● Continuous Maintenance: Perform regular updates, bug fixes, and performance tuning across both modern and legacy environments.
Technical Requirements
● The Main Stack: ~3 years of experience in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
● Cloud-Native Architecture: Familiarity with Cloudflare (Workers/Pages) and Supabase (or a strong desire to master these technologies).
● CI/CD Tools: Practical experience with GitHub Actions for automating builds, tests, and deployments.
● Legacy Knowledge: Practical experience with PHP and MySQL. You should be comfortable navigating existing PHP codebases and writing queries to extract or update data.
● API Integration: Competence in working with RESTful APIs; familiarity with Plato Medical EMR or healthcare data is a plus.
What We Are Looking For?
● Technical Versatility: Ability to switch between modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments and legacy PHP environments as needed.
● System Maintenance: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and fixing issues in existing systems.
● Independence: While you will have guidance from IT Leadership, you are comfortable researching solutions and taking initiative on technical tasks.
● Reliability: A focus on data integrity and security, particularly when handling sensitive information between different database types.
● Collaborative Spirit: A proactive communicator who enjoys working in a lean team to solve technical challenges.
Why Join Us?
● Ownership of Work: You aren't just one developer among hundreds. You will know the system inside-out and your contributions will be essential to our daily operations.
● Direct Contribution to Growth: Your work will directly enable our expansion and improve the experience for our customers and clinic teams.
● Stable & Local: Enjoy the stability of an in-house role within a successful local business that values long-term contribution.
