Executive (Human Resource)

Grace Orchard School caters to students who have been diagnosed with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and those with Mild Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The school is specifically for studentsranging from 7-18 years old who have Intellectual Quotient (IQ) which falls within the range of 50-70. The school is a non- profit organisation under Presbyterian Community Social Services (PCS).

The Executive (Human Resource) reports to the Senior Manager (Human Resource). The job holder will be responsible for recruitment,onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of staff records.  He/she will also assist and be guided by the Senior Executive (Human Resource).

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate the entire recruitment process including advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, arranging for interviews, preparing and offering employment contract and administering pre-employment matters

• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes:

* first day onboarding administration and briefing

* creating employee personal file and record in the HR system

    * coordinating orientation programme

* administer exit clearance process

• Maintain and update employee personal files and records in the HR system when required
• Coordinate employee health-check
• Maintain record of relief personnel deployment and prepare manpower reports
• Support work on recognition of staff employment anniversary and long service awards
• Assist to attend to employee enquiries on HR policies and practices
• Assist in employee and student insurance matters

Requirements

• Relevant Diploma or Degree
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in Human Resource work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
