Engineering Manager

Oversee engineering and building maintenance operations, while leading the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility performance

 
We are looking for someone who has 

• Minimum 8 years of proven leadership experience in facilities management 

• In-depth technical knowledge in building and facilities management, CERT, risk assessment and workplace safety and health 

• Capability to problem solve and make rational decisions under pressure  

• Strong communication  

• Proactive follow-through  

• Flexibility to work beyond regular hours, weekends and public holidays 
  
  

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to) 

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of building condition, equipment, and mechanical plant; identify maintenance needs and implement actions to ensure safe, efficient, and optimal operations

• Supervise and coordinate the club’s maintenance planning and defect rectification, ensure timely completion of works with minimal disruption  

• Drive the club’s sustainability targets by identifying and implementing energy management and green building initiatives 

• Supervise and manage the Engineering team; oversee staffing, deployment, training, and performance to ensure operational excellence 

• Manage departmental budgets, CapEx, and purchases, and ensure timely renewal of service agreements, certifications, and permits 

• Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and statutory requirements 

• Oversee and coordinate upgrading projects and provide relevant support for club events
