Main responsibilities and activities

• Reach the proposed periodical sales targets in terms of quantity, pricing and customer base development
• Establish and manage the relationship with assigned existing customers
• Identify new customers in the target market segments developing sales opportunities
• Regularly report to Commercial Manager and to the headquarter about the status of the assigned customers and market segments in terms of sales forecast, competition behavior, pricing and customer needs development
• Prepare proposals and participate to the activities for giving or renewing customers credit lines, and support the headquarter in verifying  the solvency of the customers and co-operate in any actions or proceedings aimed to recover eventual amounts payable
• Support the technical assistance team during visits to customers for application development, claims, new product presentations
• Cooperate with customer service and logistic departments in troubleshooting problems arising from Customers, suchas delivery to destination, Customers’ complaints and others.
• In cooperation with the relevant Bus provide assistanceto Sales to outline and cooperate to the management of distribution contracts, keeping relationships with distributors or agents in order to collect their sales forecasts, orders and deliveries

Knowledge, qualifications and experience

• A minimum of 5 years of technical or commercial experience in multinational companies producing, distributing or transforming synthetic rubbers such as SSBR, EPDM, BR, EPR, NBR or TPR preferably acquired in the Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar and Indonesia markets.
• Knowledge of Office package at a user level: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Flexibility, problem solving, negotiation skills, high orientation to the goals, ability to work both independently, and as a member of a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills, resilience.
• May require frequent business travel in Asia
