Director of Business Development

Job Overview
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead strategic initiatives that support our brand growth and expansion in Singapore. This role focuses on identifying long-term growth opportunities, developing market expansion strategies, and driving initiatives that strengthen the company’s commercial positioning. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with commercial insight and has experience supporting business growth in dynamic consumer-facing industries.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead strategic planning initiatives to support business growth and market expansion
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, partnerships, and commercial initiatives
Develop business cases and growth strategies for new concepts, initiatives, or market opportunities
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making
• Work cross-functionally with leadership teams to align strategic priorities with operational execution
• Support expansion initiatives including market entry planning, concept development, and commercial feasibility assessments
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and external collaborators
• Monitor market trends and consumer insights to identify emerging opportunities for innovation and growth

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Hospitality, Marketing, Commercial or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business strategy, business development, or commercial leadership roles
• Experience in consumer-facing industries such as hospitality, retail, or food and beverage is preferred
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
• Proven ability to identify and develop growth opportunities in competitive markets
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
