Director - Business Development

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the client pipeline and drive ticket closures to completion, ensuring timely deal finalization.
• Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies in collaboration with the CEO and CIO to expand market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and wholesale clients across China and North East Asia to secure investment commitments.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and enhance investor engagement.
• Travel to new and existing territories as needed to grow institutional relationships and increase market penetration.

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the fund management or hedge fund industry.
• Proven track record of successfully raising significant capital in equities or fund products.
• Strong existing network of clients capable of investing in hedge funds of all sizes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with a results-driven mindset.
