Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
To assist all cooks to provide consistent quality of food and services to internal and external customers, by adhering to all Marriott Standards and Policies and Singapore Marriott Hotel standards of excellence.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Work close together with Dim Sum Chef.
- Be on time to report to work.
- Help at all times to prepare all food according to recipe cards and follow the standard of food to reach a standard of excellence.
- Instruction has to be followed at all times.
- To work in a safe manner at all times, to eliminate accidents.
- To enforce our policy, “Clean As you go”.
- Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment in work area.
- Daily check and cleaning of walking fridge.
- Daily covering, rotating and dating of all food items.
- Co-operation and team work at all times.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks as requested by Management. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Candidate must possess at least a Primary School, any field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar capacity
- Assist in the preparation and making of dim sum dishes
- Possess good interpersonal skills, team player and positive attitude
- Able to work rotating shifts and on weekend and public holidays
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
