Diamond Jewellery Valuer |Certified Gemmologists [ GIA / FGA ]

• Position: Gemmologist & Procurement Manager
• Industry: Precious Gemstones, Rare Gem, Diamonds Collections
• 5.5 Work Days, 9-6pm (Mon to Fri) , 9am to 1pm Saturday
• Sunday & PH are off.
• Office near Orchard MRT (Private Sales Gallery & Office)
• Starting Salary: $6000 to $7000 + Bonus

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
2. Certified Gemmologist (GIA, FGA or other relevant certification) will be added advantage.

Gem Identification and Grading:

1. Utilize advanced gemmological instruments and techniques to accurately identify and grade
2. gemstones, including diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls

Client Consultation:

1. Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection, care and investment.
2. Assist in the selection of gemstone for jewellery design and creation

Procurement:

1. Sourcing and procurement of gemstones.
2. Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory
3. Monitor gemstone markets trends and advise on potential investments

Production:

1. Cordinate with designers and workshop on new product development.
