Deputy Manager - Treasury Sales (RT)

Job Overview:
The role will be part of the TMU (Treasury Marketing Unit) Sales – Corporate team. The role will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to build and manage corporate customer that have hedging and investment requirements. The objective is to increase and grow our wallet share with customer. The role will be required to provide advisory services and transaction execution coordinating with the trading teams.

Responsibilities:
Customer engagement on assigned portfolio. Work with the TMU, relationship banking and trading teams to drive business strategies and to onboard new customer that have requirements on Treasury products. The role will be primarily FX focus and having knowledge on interest rate derivatives and investment products will be an advantage.   

• Grow and expand the customer’s treasury product wallet with the bank
• Provide timely relevant market updates and product information to customer and stakeholders
• Preparation of daily market recap update (e-mail) for customer and stakeholders
• Achieve revenue target set by the management.
• Proactive engagements with RMs and Operations team to provide regular/timely feedback from customer to ensure high level of customer experience satisfaction.
• Ensure prompt and accurate execution of transactions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal compliance policies where applicable
• Ensure all relevant required trainings for the job are completed

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business/Finance/Marketing or a relevant discipline is preferred
• Approximately 7 to 12 years treasury sales experience. Preferably has established customer relationships and proven client facing capabilities
• Licensed in FMRP, M1A/M1B, M5 and M6. (Candidates currently without the license but with the required sale and product experience will be considered but they must pass the examinations within a given grace period)
• Strong knowledge across FX products, in particular Spot, FX and NDF; and a good understanding of structured solutions
• Sales-driven FX flows generation for stable and recurring income, be able to listen to customer and devise solutions
• Possess teamwork skills and able to communicate at different working levels both with customer and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese as liaising with headquarter counterparties will be required
