Job Description

We are seeking a committed and detail oriented Dental Nurse / Dental Surgery Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist in clinical procedures, ensure proper sterilisation protocols, and provide a positive experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures (general, restorative, surgical, etc.)

• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols

• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organised, and well-stocked

• Provide chairside assistance and anticipate dentist’s needs during procedures

• Attend to patient enquiries and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Support administrative duties such as appointment scheduling when required

• Adhere to clinic policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in dental assisting (e.g. NITEC in Dental Assisting or equivalent) preferred

• Candidates without prior experience but with a strong interest in healthcare are welcome to apply (training will be provided)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

• Basic computer literacy

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical setting

• Prior experience in dental or healthcare setting

• Familiarity with sterilisation and infection control procedures

• Customer service experience

Working Hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:40 AM to 6:50 PM

• Thursdays 8:40 AM to 8:20 PM

• Saturdays: 8:40 AM to 4:20 PM

• OFF on Sundays and PH
