Dental Assistant (Full Time)

Job Description & Requirements

Due quota restriction we are only looking for only Singaporean or PR fulltime dental assistant with experiences in Prosthodontics will be great, proficient in English & Mandarin who are friendly, meticulous, organized, mature, responsible with a positive attitude, professional Dental Assistant that basic computer skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary Duties - Dental Assistance

Prepare patients and the work area for treatments.

You are responsible for providing four-handed chair-side assistance to specialist/dentist on duty in the treatment of patients.

You are required strictly to comply to the infectious control and work safety regulations for the cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization of instruments, equipment & supplies according to clinic's SOP's.

Responsible to do X-ray & photo takings and casting of models, completing lab tasks under the direction of the specialist/dentist.

Document patient care in the electronic health record (E.g., Charting). Keep records of dental treatments.

Secondary Duties – Receptionist (If required)

Perform Receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, attending to customers and Patient’s registration & appointment scheduling; Discharges patients by dispensing medications (or as required), collecting payments accurately, issuing of MC and/or receipts and scheduling patient for subsequent appointments.

CHAS & MEDISAVE claims submission.

Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the clinic.

Requirements:

Genuine interest in healthcare with positive working attitude.

Minimum “O” Level or equivalent. NITEC Certification in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential.

Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a dental clinical setting. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.

Experiences in Prosthodontics would be great.

Proficient in English & Mandarin, able to speak other dialects would be desirable. Good interpersonal and communication skills provide good customer service.

Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team. Meticulous to details and ability to follow instructions.

Basic computer, familiar with Clinic Management Software Clinic - Clinic Assist

No. of working days: 5.5 Days’ week. Mon – Fri: 9am – 6pm
Sat: 9am – 1pm
