Consultant - Digital Marketing Communications

We are seeking a Consultant who has experience in media and influencer relations in the consumer lifestyle space for the Thailand market. The ideal candidate is a bright, inquisitive and self-driven individual who wants to be part of a high quality, diverse and dynamic team. In this role, you will support the agency’s storytelling efforts in the digital media space for Thailand. A strong command of the Thai language and a deep understanding of the local media and influencer landscape are essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop comprehensive tactical plans that incorporate traditional and digital elements. Contribute to the plan development process, as needed
• Understand clients’ top-tier media/influencer targets in Thailand and be able to edit media lists appropriately
• Identify and build relationships with key media and influencers. Proactively consume media outlets that are relevant to client businesses
• Secure media placements, actively pitch media and relevant influencers about client news by conducting media outreach, research and follow up
• Monitor traditional and digital outlets for coverage of client news, competitor and industry developments; analyse coverage results and flag for appropriate team members
• Draft media relations materials that are aligned with program strategy set by the account leadership, with an attention to detail and minimal factual error.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills
• Manage event logistics up to and including the execution of the event
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital communications

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong command of Thai in speech and written (professional level)
• 1 – 3 years in a PR/marketing agency or similar environment preferred skills
• Adequate knowledge of media (focus) and influencer landscape in Thailand
• Good knowledge in consumer behavior for content consumption
• Strong presentation skills to be able to communicate key messages in a concise manner
• Good knowledge of relevant trends and happenings to be able to contribute significantly in brainstorms and development of plans
• Has good relationships with media/influencers and industry members; able to also identify new influencers and potential partners from the industry
• Strong attention to detail
