Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Controlling (Indicative time spent: 60%)
· Support month and year-end closing as necessary to meet group deadlines
· Investigate and provide monthly analysis of company performance explaining variances vs budgets, forecasts, and prior years, and present findings and developments to the Management
· Engage with your business stakeholders to review YTD results and develop YTG rolling forecasts
· Prepare profitability analysis, margin & cost analysis, management reports and potential risk analysis with high quality comments
· Contribute significantly to the preparation of business reviews to support long-term business planning
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
Compliance & Internal Controls (Indicative time spent: 40%)
· Implement compliance policies and measures in accordance with corporate and local requirements.
· Develop and deliver compliance training programs and provide guidance to employees on compliance-related issues and best practices, including but not limited to Code of Conduct, Antitrust, Data Protection and Anti-Corruption
· Monitor compliance with laws, corporate and local regulations.
· Conduct regular compliance reviews to identify and support mitigation of potential risks
· Act as the main point of contact for compliance-related questions for internal and external stakeholders
· Support compliance case handling and/or investigations and follow-up actions when necessary.
Others
· Support with internal & external audits
· Support with SAP and other systems’ implementation and maintenance
· Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
Key Qualifications
· At least a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent. Full qualification as a CPA is a
strong plus
· Minimum 10 + years of relevant working experience, ideally in FMCG or Retail,
· Minimum 3 + years in people management role in APAC region is preferred.
· Experience in compliance, audit, legal, or risk areas.
· English fluent, both orally and in writing business communication
· Effective team player, with a positive working attitude, pro-active, hardworking, organized, and willing to learn
· Good problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure
· Proficiency in MS Office applications
· Knowledge of SAP or other ERP will be an advantage
