Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Coding Educator to develop and deliver coding lessons for students aged 7 to 12, fostering technical skills and curiosity through effective teaching and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver age-appropriate coding lessons that engage students aged 7 to 12 and promote hands-on learning
• Develop and organize teaching materials that support curriculum goals and enhance student understanding
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Build and sustain positive relationships with students and parents to support student progress and engagement
• Continuously update knowledge of educational technology trends to integrate innovative teaching methods
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to additional duties as assigned to support program success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science
• Experience in teaching or tutoring children in individual or group settings
• Knowledge of Scratch Junior, Scratch, Microbit (Scratch and Makecode platforms), and Python programming languages
• Strong communication skills with a passion for teaching children
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and as an effective team player
• Enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new ideas in education technology
• Fresh graduates with keen interest and relevant skills are encouraged to apply; training will be provided
