Barista (A Premium Tea Brand)

The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. is expanding, and we’re looking for a Retail Associate to join our team. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to grow your career. Key Responsibilities
● Food & Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage from sandwiches and waffles to signature tea blends and coffee, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

● Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent, personalised service. Take and process orders accurately, handle cash and electronic payments, and proactively promote and upsell products to meet store targets.

● Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's tea products, brewing methods, and promotions to effectively engage with customers, answer their questions, and make recommendations.

● Store Operations & Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including the tea bar counter, equipment, and customer-facing areas. Restock and replenish products and supplies regularly.

● Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to a positive and dynamic workplace culture.

● Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A service-driven, outgoing and positive attitude with a passion or appreciation for tea
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Prior experience in a food and beverage (F&B) or retail setting is preferred. Barista or bubble tea experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
