Banking Operations Officer

Duration: 1 year contract
Salary: Up to $4k (No CPF)
Location: Raffles Place
Working hours: Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm

Job Scope:
Account Opening & Documentation
- Process new account applications for savings, current, and other consumer banking products.
- Verify customer information and ensure completeness of documentation in line with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) guidelines.
- Perform data entry and system updates accurately within defined turnaround times.

Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (MAS guidelines) and internal compliance standards.
- Flag and escalate suspicious activities or incomplete documentation promptly.

Customer Service
- Liaise with customer service managers and branch staff to resolve account opening queries.
- Provide timely updates on application status to internal stakeholders.

Operational Excellence
- Maintain high accuracy and productivity levels while meeting SLAs.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Business Management/Banking and Finance or related field
- Min. 1 year customer service experience
