Assistant Relationship Manager (Bank)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Assistant Relationship Manager 

Contract Duration: 6 or 12 months (depending on candidate profile)
Target Start Date: Earliest possible upon meeting role requirements
Markets Supported: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand

Role Purpose

The role provides additional administrative and servicing support to Senior Relationship Managers (RMs) who have sizeable client books. The candidate will work alongside the main Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) and provide coverage when the main ARM is on leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior RMs with administrative tasks and client servicing activities.
• Work jointly with the main ARM on day-to-day operational and servicing matters.
• Provide leave coverage for the main ARM to ensure continuity of support.
• Handle documentation follow-up, account servicing requests, and coordination with internal teams.
• Support processes related to account maintenance, transactions, and internal approvals.

Candidate Requirements

• Certifications: CACS Paper 1 and Paper 2 (both preferred to enable transition into hands-on activities).
• Experience: Prior client servicing experience.
• Skills: Ability to manage administrative workflows and service-related tasks.

Hiring Context

The role is an additional support headcount for Senior RMs whose growing client books require more than one ARM (current model is 1 ARM; ideal support is 1.5 ARMs).

Extension / Conversion

There may be opportunities for contract extension or conversion depending on team dynamics, business expansion, and continued RM book growth.
