Assistant Manager, Student & Leadership Development #JTL

To support and run student life initiatives and programmes to promote student interactions and strengthen student engagement and experience:

•       Work with students, student leaders, student ambassadors and student clubs/organisations to organize events, activities and programmes to build and strengthen the sense of community between student cohorts, seniors and alumni

•       Run student engagement events such as welcome sessions, orientation programmes, feedback, focus groups and dialogue sessions, workshops, and other student activities

•       Organise student leadership programmes, student development activities and enrichment programmes such as case competitions, shark tanks, student entrepreneurship initiatives and community projects

•       Mentor, coach and support students and student leaders in running student clubs, interest groups and other student organisations

•       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize and execute student development activities and leadership programmes

•       Assist Senior Assistant Manager and Manager in overseeing the administration of Student Life processes (including adherence to corporate governance)

•       Assist Senior Assistant Manager and Manager in budget planning, generate data and review trends to analyse and conceptualise new policies/initiatives to enhance student experience

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the education sector
• Prior experience in a relevant student life role in in an institution of higher learning will be advantageous.
