Assistant Manager, Finance

You will assist the Senior Manager in Accounts Payable and Grant Management functions.  You will be responsible for prompt verification of purchase requisitions and processing of invoices/transactions in Accounts Payable Invoice Management Systems.  You will also do accounting for grants and ensure compliance to audit and declaration requirements while coordinating the audit of these grants. You will prepare journals, statements and reconciliation and monitor the spending to budgets and project cash flow.

In addition, you will be involved in system enhancements and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and accounting standards in order to maintain the highest standard of work.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualifications with at least 2 years’ experience in financial accounting or auditing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
• A resourceful team player with excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills who is able to work under tight deadlines
